The mission of the Systems Analysis and Studies Panel is:

  • To conduct studies and analyses of an operational and technological nature, and
  • To promote the exchange and development of methods and tools for operational analysis as applied to defence problems.

Participation is open to appointed Panel Members and Associate Members. Guests will be invited on behalf of the SAS Panel Chair.

Meeting attendees are kindly requested to (create an account and) register no later than 27 March 2019 at 17:00 (CET). Please also indicate during registration interest in the social events and other arrangements.

The Read Ahead package and the draft Agenda will be send 14 days prior to the meeting. All meeting documents will be uploaded to the SAS Panel Science Connect space 7 days prior to the meeting or as soon as possible.

The General Information Package is available at this meeting announcement after your registration is validated and when logged in. This package contains all information to make travel arrangements and benefit from negotiated hotel rates. Blocked rooms will be released on 09 March 2019.

The Headquarters Supreme Allied Commander Transformation and the Science and Technology Organization organize the 13th NATO Operations Research and Analysis (OR&A) Conference on 7 and 8 October, hosted by Defence Research and Development Canada in Ottawa, Canada.

Participation is open to individuals from NATO Nations, NATO Partnership for Peace Nations and Australia.

As part of the continuous development of the NATO OR&A Community of Interest, the OR&A Conference will bring together analysts from NATO commands and agencies, national defence analysis and research organisations, centres of excellence, academia, and industry to experience an exciting program with plenty of opportunities for discussion and debate.

The conference will run for two full days starting on Monday 07 October 2019 at 0800 and ending at 1730 on Tuesday 08 October 2019.

Registration for the event will open in July 2019.
