The NATO S&T Collaboration Support Office and the Human Factors and Medicine (HFM) Panel

are pleased to announce the

 Research Symposium HFM-361 on «Mitigating and Responding to Cognitive Warfare» to be held in Madrid, Spain

13-14 November 2023

 

The HFM-361 Research Symposium intends to increase the understanding of CW and its effects. This will lead to more effective prevention and mitigation strategies and countermeasures to increase security among nations, and within the NATO alliance. The outcome of the work will support addressing the Warfare Development Initiatives stated in the NATO Warfighting Capstone Concept.

The Symposium (RSY)) intends to invite world class speakers to identify main S&T areas pertaining to CW from both a short- and long-term perspective connected to the strategic S&T roadmap which will be developed during the ACT Tide Sprint CW Workshop

The Symposium is open to NATO Nations, NATO Bodies, STO EOP, MD, PfP and GP and conducted at a PUBLIC RELEASE level.

Deadline: Sunday 29 October 2023, so please ensure that you register on time.

The General Information Package (GIP) specifying the event logistics, accommodation, travelling, venue etc. will be visible and ready for download on this website after your registration has been validated by the CSO. After validation, return to this page again, log in with your credentials and download the GIP located in the grey box below the Google maps picture or above the bar below entitled "GIP HFM-361 RSY Madrid''.

The RSY Program is ready for download before validation of the enrollment.

The expected output is to be a number of oral and written presentations and papers (published in Meeting Proceedings) containing technical descriptions of state-of-the-art research.

There are no registration fees for this symposium.
