IST-208 Research Symposium (RSY) on Towards the convergence of Edge Computing, Adaptive Networking, and Information Management at the Tactical Edge

The Information Systems Technology (IST) Scientific and Technical Committee will hold a symposium on the convergence of edge computing, adaptive networking and information management at the tactical edge on 15-16 October 2024 in Lillehammer, Norway. The symposium will be held in conjunction with the 54th IST Business Meeting.

This two-day symposium will provide a forum for scientists, industry practitioners, and military users to present novel ideas on the foundation, implementation, and application of edge computing at the tactical edge. Academic and industry professionals will present state-of-the-art updates on the development and application of edge computing, with insights into how these technologies can be applied to real NATO operational issues.

The symposium is NATO Unclassified and open to all citizens of NATO Nations, NATO bodies and STO Enhanced Opportunity Partners (Australia, Japan), as well as Austria, Singapore, Switzerland, Ukraine.

All travel arrangements will need to be made by the attendees, and will not be covered by the Collaboration Support Office.

Please see the attached General Information Package (GIP) for information on logistics, accommodation, travel, etc. The GIP will be visible and ready for download on this website after your registration has been validated by the IST Scientific and Technical Committee Executive Office.
