AVT-375  on Munition Health Management Lecture Series: Implementation Challenges

Research Lecture Series 

 to be held in Washington, DC (USA), 10-11 September 2024

The lecture series is open to citizens from NATO nations, Australia, Japan, Republic of Korea and Singapore.

Scientific Objectives

The RLS aims at end-users of munitions and guided missiles in the munitions’, quality and logistics branches of MoD’s. The RLS provides information of state of the art MHM technologies and approaches. Further, guidance is given in setting up and implementing MHM technologies based on realistic cost benefit analyses. The lectures will be arranged in a logical and systematic way allowing participants to select lectures that suit their position best.
The deliveries will be the lecture series itself, which will be held for participants from NATO countries. The lecture presentations/handouts will be another deliverable of the activity.

• Overview of current state of the art of technology in the field of Munition Health Management
• Examples of system implementation and integration, discussing current operational HUMS systems
• Systematic steps towards implementation of MHM: Implementation strategy (AOP-4844)
• Life decision process
• Cost Benefit Analysis
• Design of MHM capability
