Getting to the CSO

Taxis: The taxi ride from the airport to the CSO costs about 60€. The taxi stand is just outside the terminal exit. Since March 2016, Paris Airport taxis are subject to a flat rate fee: CDG Airport to Paris: 50€; Orly airpor to Paris: 35€. In addition to these fees, 4€ for immediate reservation; 7€ for advance booking. Fixed tariffs are in place on public holidays, weekends, day/night. N.B. the CSO is in Neuilly sur Seine and is therefore outside Paris.

Bus: "Le Bus Direct" has replaced "Les Bus Air France" with some new itineraries: http://en.lebusdirect.com

Line 2 departs from Charles de Gaulle (Roissy) Airport every 30 minutes from 05.45 to 23.00h; arrives at Porte Maillot and Étoile (Arc de Triomphe) and continues to Trocadero/Eiffel Tower. Journey = 45-95 minutes depending on traffic; price: €17 single/€30 return. Tickets can be bought online/on the bus. Line 1 from Orly Airport, to Montparnasse and/or Les Invalides, and Étoile (Arc de Triomphe). Cost: 12€ single, 20.00€ return.

RER/Metro: From Charles de Gaulle Airport take RER Line B, change at Châtelet, take Metro Line 1 direction La Défense. Les Sablons is the nearest metro stop to the CSO. Take the exit marked Jardin d’Acclimatation; you will be on Avenue Charles de Gaulle. Follow the instructions below to reach the CSO premises.

Directions to the CSO from metro station Les Sablons Take the exit marked Jardin d’Acclimatation; you will be on the Avenue Charles de Gaulle. Walk towards the modern arch of La Défense (the Arc de Triomphe will be behind you). About 300m further on, turn left into rue Ancelle (there is a Credit Lyonnais Bank (LCL) on the corner). The CSO is about 100 meters down this street (rue Ancelle) at no. 7 on your left, behind a white wall and black iron gate. Ring the bell (marked “Sonnette”) and the guard will let you in. Please have some ID with you to leave with the guard. He will provide you with a visitor’s badge.
